Weekend at Jay Peak

T-5 months until we say "I do"!  We have been super busy the last few weeks taking care of a lot of wedding stuff.  We have bridesmaids dresses, groomsmen suits, wedding rings, flowers, amazing photographers, and everyone seems to be getting excited for the big day!

Two weeks ago we spent a night in Burlington getting our engagement pictures done and we had a blast!  Our photographer, Carin is so talented and laid back and I think she and her photog partner will give off calm, sweet vibes come September 1.

We headed up to Jay Peak the next day to meet our families to show them what we fell in love with up there.  The girls headed to meet with our florist and the guys had some lunch.  Then, we checked in to our three-bedroom suite and changed in to our suits and hit up the water park!  If you are staying in the Hotel Jay in a suite-- they are HUGE!  So much space and very private.  All of the bedrooms have their own bathooms and the living area is large.  The kitchen was fully stocked with all the goodies, and each room had their own Keurig machine and free coffee.

The water park was super fun, as usual! It was definitely more crowded than when Nate and I went last summer but it is their peak season.  We rode the slides, relaxed in the river, watched the flower girl play, and tried the wave machine!  On Sunday, Nate, his father, and his sister all went snowboarding and the rest of us hit the water park again.  We hung around until 1 or so and then it was time to go to the tasting!  We got to try most of the delicious food we will be having at the wedding, and the chef has a huge personality so it was really fun.

Now... without further adieu... the only reason I look at blogs... the pictures!
