We FINALLY got information for booking at
Jay Peak! Attached below is a file with
room types, room rates, and how to book.
We currently have a block of rooms set aside for the wedding. The rooms set aside are in either hotel and
vary in room type (ie. King/single suite/double suite). The two and three bedroom suites are awesome—each bedroom
has its own bathroom, and there is a kitchen/living area for all to share. Plenty of privacy if you want to travel with others!
If you book a room, condo, or cottage outside
of the block, you will still get the discounted rate! There are two different rates for the wedding
discount—one for single nights and another for 2+ nights.
It looks as though renting a condo or a cottage for more
than two people is a pretty sweet deal and cheaper than booking a hotel
room. If you know other guests going to
the wedding, give the condos or cottages a try!
No need to worry about transportation either—there is a Jay Peak Shuttle
that will bring you anywhere on the resort, so it may make staying at the
condos or cottages a little easier.
Please please please let us know if you have any trouble booking rooms and we are happy to answer any questions you have about the resort and other accommodations!!

The
Hotel Jay (according to Kacey and Nate)
This hotel is
just about brand spankin’ new and this is where we stayed on our first trip up
to plan the wedding. The rooms and
bathrooms are pretty big and the beds were almost too comfortable (if that is
even possible). The Hotel Jay is also
where the Pump House is located, along with a coffee shop and The Foundry
Grille and Pub restaurant. Make sure you
request a room with either a mountain view or a valley view (both have equally
beautiful views) and not one with a Pump House view. There are many different types of rooms at
the hotel including suites with bunkbeads and kitchenettes and for the lovers
out there, king bed suites.
The
Tram Haus Lodge (according to Kacey and Nate)
This hotel is right next door to The Hotel Jay
and was built in 2009. It has more of an
outdoorsy feel than the Hotel Jay, which has a more modern feel. The lodge has beautiful old beams that runs
throughout and has a lot of character. Our
favorite restaurant at Jay was here, Tower Bar.
Here, we met the bartender Lily who gave us a ton of great advice and
inside information about the resort and things to do. The next time we head up to Jay, we are
definitely staying here! This is also
where we will be spending our wedding night (oohlala) and where the cocktail
hour and reception are located. There
are also many different types of rooms at the hotel including suites with
bunkbeads and kitchenettes and for the lovers out there, king bed suites.
Village
Condominiums and Townhouses
The most
luxurious, yet affordable, ski-in,ski-out lodging anywhere. Units range from 2-
to 5-bedrooms and are perfect for medium to large groups, or multifamily
getaways.
The
Clubhouse Suites
Clubhouse
Suites include luxury 1- and 2-bedroom suites with beautiful views of the
course and surrounding ranges. All are outfitted with kitchenettes, flat-screen
televisions in all rooms and are beautifully furnished with standard amenities
Golf
& Mountain Cottages
These new,
multi-level cottages sit on what locals refer to as the Shortcut road, along
the first hole of our Championship Golf Course and just a short walk from the
Tramside base lifts and across from the Pump House Indoor Waterpark. 1- and 2-
bedroom suites available.
Slopeside
Condominiums
Located
mostly on the Queen's Highway trail, our deluxe Slopeside condominiums have
2-bedrooms and one full bathroom plus a full kitchen, living and dining areas,
fireplace and small balcony.
Stoneypath
Condominiums
Deluxe and
economy 2-bedroom units located on the road between stateside and tramside, a
10 minute walk to the village double chair.
Mountainside
Condominiums
Within
walking distance to the first tee, the Ice Haus and The Hotel Jay, Pump House
Indoor Waterpark and Tramside amenities, Mountainside condos offer a mix of
studio, 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedrooms.
Trailside
Condominiums
The Trailside
units are located on Tramside walking distance to all Tramside amenities
including the Pump House Indoor Waterpark and Ice Haus arena. In the winter,
the lifts are just a short ski away.
The hotels offer many packages like a “Splash-n-Stay”
package that includes a pass to the water park for each person in the room, as
well as “Play-n-Stay” packages that include tee times to play golf. When we were booking trips, it was cheaper
for us to book a package than just a room, so keep that in mind. If you choose
to stay at one of the hotels, make sure you call to book because you will get a
discount if you mention you are staying for the wedding! You can book the townhouses and cottages as
listed above through Jay Peak, but when searching on websites such as www.vacationrentals.com or www.homeaway.com or www.cyberrentals.com or www.jaypeakrentals.com or www.vacationatjay.com much more reasonable
prices were found, as they are being rented out by a family that owns them and
not the resort. Note: If anyone is staying at any of the hotel
properties (hotels, condos, townhouses etc), there is a Jay Peak Shuttle Bus that runs
that you can call and it will take you anywhere you want to go on the resort
property! If you are interested in renting a places from a site online, just
ask the owner if it is on the resort property and if the shuttle goes
there. Typically the rentals listed as
“ski in/ski out” or “slopeside” are at the mountain.
